Is it possible to get DIRECTV and watch the programs on more than one telvision sets in my home? Yes! Every television set in your house can have DIRECTV receiver. You and any members of your household can watch different programs on each television set at any time. And you DO NOT have to pay the full monthly subscription fees for every additional receiver. MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching):
MPLS is a standardized data switching technology that optimizes network traffic flow and eases management of data networks. Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is a voice and data access service that supports both voice and data communication across a copper plain old telephone serivce (POTS) line and significantly increases the digital capacity of analog POTS access lines.
POTS local loop speed is increased by up to 50 times when a DSL modem is attached at the customer premise and a Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) is connected to the local access loop at the local telephone company central office (CO).
DSL service is delverd as Asymmetric DSL (ADSL) which is the most common application for Internet access, where fast downstream is required, but slow upstream is acceptable, and as Symmetric DSL (SDSL) which supports high speed access across the local access loop in both directions.
